For the past two years Mayfield Gardens, Inc. has been working at the Philadelphia Museum of Art as a sub-contractor to L.F. Driscoll Co. on the “Relocated Surface Lot and Sculpture Garden” project. As the landscape contractor on the project, Mayfield is proud to exhibit the work completed thus far. The project consists of two phases: the first was completed in 2007 with a relocated parking lot built in preparation for the main project of a parking garage with a rooftop sculpture Garden. For both phases, Mayfield has worked hand-in-hand with the landscape architects: Olin Partnership and the General Contractor: L.F. Driscoll Co. to meet the high standards and specifications of the project. These include:
Creating special soil mixes that meet the specifications from Olin Partnership
Providing the finest plant material and rooftop materials
Building the roof-top sculpture garden, complete with Green-roof materials, grass, plant material and installation of sculptures and fountains
